Xtruist is a music composer, drummer, producer and arranger.
He writes all kinds of music from classical to punk/rock and electronic music. His most notable works include music for video games.
He created and still continues to create music for all Eipix (www.eipix.com) games including the incredible 3 hour score for SCI FI
racer Pyroblazer. Eipix is a young and independent game development company from Novi Sad, Serbia. Pyroblazer is their first large
scale independent game, and they are currently working on their next title - a futuristic top down shooter - Eclosion, for wich
Xtruist is composing original music score.
Xtruist also composed music for the Hysteria Hospital: Emergency Ward (Oxygen Interactive), Ziro (Kokakiki) and Hugo: Magic in
the Trollwoods (Krea Medie/Attractive games).
In his music all styles are present, although orchestral music with various additional flavours plays a central role. Depending
on the soundtrack of the game, movie, or play, guitar hard core and various commercial electronic styles are represented as well.
Xtruist owns his own audio studio in Novi Sad, Serbia from where he creates music for various worldwide media projects.
About Eclosion OST - Track 07:
This track is one of many from the upcoming game Eclosion by Eipix entertainment. The idea was to make a balance between the retro
style for which Hard Sid 4 U was used, and new electronic music. Other instruments/patches present in this song are from Kurzweil
PC3 and Access Music Virust TI. Sequencing was done in Cubase 5. This is one of the rare songs where I actually managed to keep it
really simple, it really does remind me of some Amiga tunes. I was amazed at how the SID actually sounded, and I constantly needed
to "deteriorate" the sound in order to get a more vintage feel that we all know and love. Hard Sid is an instrument totally capable
of coping and in some areas surpassing the modern VA synths.
