Easily Embarrassed is the electronic chill out project of brothers Nick van der Schilden and Jeffrey van der Schilden from the Netherlands.
Focusing on noisy atmospheres, glitched beat work, psy-dub, acoustic elements and often ambitious synth work, the project aims on diversity and freedom of certain sound that holds some roots within Ambient, Techno and Psychedelic Chillout. The project was founded on 8 July 2006 by Nick, Jeffrey and Peter Spaargaren. Peter left the project as a constant member after the release of their debut album "Idyllic Life" in 2008.

In their childhood, Nick and Jeffrey grew up with the C64. They always admired the wonderful SID-chip for it's cool sound, listening to productions from artists like Matrin Galway, Rob Hubbard and Jeroen Tel.
Before the EE project existed, Nick already bought the first edition of the HardSID for use in various early projects. Since 2008 the EE studio got upgraded to the HardSID 4U. The device is featured a lot as an instrument in EE music.
