Anke S. aka Anchee: is the PISCIDE mastermind, to exhaust synthesizers & sequenzer is her passion. She did first sound experiments in the years before on Commodore 64, AMIGA, ATARI Falcon and on other musical hardware. All the PISCIDE sounds incl. the vocals are created by Anchee. Markus R. aka CNT: is the 2nd brain in the project, he writes the lyrics (primary in german diction), he's the architect of the "WERKZEUK-Studio" and he does also the graphic plus web things.

"The HardSID SE is now a inherent part in my studio and is integrated in some of my songs, it's a sweet synth-hardware, i like it very much."

"I like SID music and some good SID musicians since my first C=64 sessions years ago. The SID is one of the most characteristic Soundchips ever made, i think the HardSID 4U is one of the best ways to connect the SID cult with modernity. I prefer the 6581 SID version, because the 6581 sounds more anolog/warm in my ears.
I have two 6581 and two 8580 SID's inside of my lil sweet HardSID 4U SE. I like to use the HardSID more in a decent way for my songs, like a supporting instrument, it's a question of inspiration and stylistic sense. My new album "Goddess Of Darkness" is on the start soon, i used the HardSID 4U on it too."

PISCIDE came true in the year 2004, the project is created and conceived by Anke S. and Markus R.. We are longstanding friends and we live in the heart of Germany "Thuringia". We like to listen good electronic music since our teenager time. The analog times such as the 70's, 80's up to the 90's and we like also selected acts in the present, independently of temporary fashions. It's more a question of character and soul in a music-landscape for us. Music should be timeless and be able to reflect emotions and memories individually in many years, this defines good (electronic) music for us. This desire, our own claim, motivates PISCIDE to make music.

24.12.2k6 the release date of the first PISCIDE fulltime album, called "illic faralis". Songs like "Fuenf Monate", "S.Y.T.D.", or the political explosive "Russian Queen" or also the club-hit "Dies kleine Gedicht" got for our beginning a super approval. "illic faralis" is a very unique & independent album and it would like to be discovered, it stands for the peculiarity of the project.

The first PISCIDE club-songs (of 2k5) "Lazarett" and "MG †††" are already great scene-insider songs. Also the PISCIDE "Sacrifice" Remix for Agonoize or lately a :Wumpscut: Remix of "Schäbiger Lump" are very unique songs. Yes, who wants to have a unique mixture is anytime exactly correct with PISCIDE.
